Origin: Vineyards of our own, which are located 1920 metres high amsl in Viñas del Carmen estate, Angastaco, Salta, Argentina.
Variety: 100% Malbec Vineyard: 8 years old – It yields 7000 kg per ha.
Soil: Sandy-loam soil lies on a pebbled bed of alluvial origin.
Production: Manual harvesting and selection. Destemming and crashing. It is extracted from Malbec sangría (a type of punch), which is cooled at 5º for 2 days. It is stripped before it follows a fermentation process. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at 14º and 16º for 20 days. Sedimentation and decantation. Clarification and filtration.
Tasting note: It has a brilliant and vibrant salmon colour. Its aroma is fresh, fruity and flowery. Its descriptors are red fruits like black cherries, Jazmin flowers and citric hints. It has a gentle and fresh initial mouth-feel with a soft sweetness that leaves a silky sensation
Wine-paring: This wine matches with fish and seafood, sushi and white meat, salads and desserts. It is ideal as an appetizer.
